Gitzo booms are designed for performance and reliability that meet location sound and broadcast audio professionals’ requirements. Our new Carbon 6X crossed layer tube makes carbon fibre booms lighter, faster and extremely rigid. Anti Leg Rotation system has been introduced and, as a result, booms are now quicker to operate and easier and more precise to adjust. Meanwhile, our G-Lock system guarantees faster and stronger locking and increases system rigidity by 20%. All new Carbon 6X GLock booms come with a convenient anti dust bag for storage and packing.
Gitzo booms feature a 1/4” - 3/8” reversible mounting screw supported by a high quality machined aluminium upper end. The microphone cable can be run either outside or inside the pole. The aluminium upper end is specially provided with a machined hole for inner cables. With the new Carbon 6X tubes and G-Lock, the new generation of Gitzo booms are surprisingly light and extremely rigid even when fully extended. Boom length can be quickly and precisely adjusted thanks to Anti Leg Rotation system.
