Most new hi-spec consumer camcorders have an accessory shoe for external microphones, lights etc. Unfortunately both Sony and Canon have changed from a standard sized shoe to their own small sized ones so only their branded branded products can be attached to the camcorder. Our range of shoe adapters solve this problem and enable other manufacturers products to be used on the camera.
Another problem users have found with some Panasonic camcorders is that although they have a standard sized shoe it is under a cap in a recess making it difficult to attach some microphones and lights. Our shoe raisers solve this problem.
