THE TELESCOPIC STAND is easy to use, lightweight and quick to set up, and supports your camera up to 7.3m (24 ft.) high.

The telescopic stand has a minimum height of 190cm and a maximum height of 730cm. It is supplied with a remote pan and tilt power head, extension cable and pan and tilt controller. It is ideal for stills photography and lightweight camcorders. The power head will support cameras up to 2.7kg. Guide ropes are supplied to make the stand more stable when used outdoors. Cables can be run down the mast to control the camera from a laptop or to a monitor.

The special top attachment enables the power head to be fastened directly onto the stand. A levelling bubble is also supplied to level off the stand.

APPLICATIONS

Outdoor: As compared with the traditional view, the result is completely different and the image is greatly improved when taken from a higher view point.
It is recommended that you use the supplied guide ropes (stakes not supplied) when used outside to stabilize the stand and prevent swaying.

Indoor: Sometimes you may have to take a picture of a detail that is in an awkward position; it may be too high with bad lighting conditions. The traditional tripod is not high enough and, in some places, heavy duty scaffolding is forbidden.

Remote Pan & Tilt Power Head
The electronic motorized Pan & Tilt Power Head fastens to the stand by an adaptor with a 1/4" stud.
The unit is battery operated with a wired remote control for both pan & tilt, it also has a variable speed control. It has been modified to pan 360 degrees and tilt up or down 15 degrees. We also supply a tilt correction plate which will allow the camera to tilt down 30 degrees from a level position, which is useful when the stand is being used for high shots.
The pan speed is variable between 4 to 8 degrees per second and the tilt is variable between 1.2 to 2.4 degrees per second ( speeds are approximate ). The Power Head is powered by 4 AA batteries. Size 145x115x103mm (5.75x4.5x4 inches)

The Stand is made of lightweight aluminium and can be transported easily as it's closed length is only 173cm and it weighs just 10kg.
